Child Care Assistance Program

The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides parents in outpatient substance abuse treatment programs with access to quality licensed child care. While parents are in outpatient substance abuse treatment groups, individual sessions, support group meetings, Drug Court, and other appointments, CCAP will help with choices of a variety of children's programs: Infant Care, Toddler Care, Preschool, Before and After School Programs, and Summer Camps. As our services are free, we do not charge for enrollment, registration, or child care.

Parents are referred to the CCAP by treatment centers in Spokane County. Currently, CCAP works with over 100 child care providers, preschool programs, and day camps. We are funded by the Spokane County Community Services Substance Abuse Treatment Program.

Our parents have peace of mind knowing that their child is safe while they are focusing on their treatment and recovery.
